TIME TO MULCH

There is still a bit of Summer to go and we could still get some hot weather through February and March. Before you relax for Autumn, there are some important jobs to do in the garden.

Apply mulch to your garden to protect it from the strong summer sun. A 100mm layer of a free draining quality organic mulch, keep the soil moist and suppress weed growth in the garden.

Goldfields Little Loads & Garden Centre supply and deliver various mulches. Crushed bark and wood waste are blended and then coloured. The colourants used are highly resistant to UV fading and do not wash off in the elements.

Black Muja|Kimberly Red|Derby Brown – Coloured Mulches

Chipped or shredded pine that has been coloured with vibrant black, brown, or red paint. Our colourants are highly resistant to UV fading from exposure to the sun and do not wash off in the elements. Suitable for all gardens as a decorative mulch and for moisture retention and weed suppressant purposes.

Apply to area 75mm - 100mm thick. Turn once at mid-season to allow for even breakdown of mulch.

Bushland – Feeder Mulch

A black mulch composed of crushed pine slivers, wood fines, screened black topsoil and manure blended together. AS 4454 Certified. Suitable for all gardens including natives as a feeder mulch.

Apply to area 60mm thick. Turn once at mid-season to allow for even breakdown of mulch.

Pinebark Mulch

Crushed and screened raw pine bark mulch red / brown in colour. AS 4454 Certified. Suitable for all gardens for moisture retention and weed suppressant purposes.

Apply to area 100mm thick. Turn once at mid-season to allow for even breakdown of mulch
